Having these instrument carts would make a huge difference in our music classes as well as during our live performances. One benefit during both performances and during class, is that it would allow students to stand at the instruments, rather than sit. Standing at the instruments would also allow audiences a better view of the children during performances. Some of our instruments are quite heavy and transporting them to different places within the classroom, or onto the stage is challenging for an adult and dangerous for the children (and instruments). Having students help move instruments introduces the chance of accidents that could lead to student or instrument injury. These heavy duty instrument carts have wheels which would make transporting the instruments around the room, or into our concert area much safer and much easier. It would open a whole new world of opportunities for us within both the learning environment and the performance arena!
