Students have different needs and are at different levels of learning. They can get individual instructional support by completing specific tasks tailored to their needs during class time using a laptop. Students will have an opportunity to get help on navigating specific science and engineering programs like Google Classroom, Khan Academy, Geogebra and much more. This year has been especially challenging because students are being asked to complete more tasks and learning online. It is especially difficult for students to complete assignments when they do not have access to technology at home and have less experience using technology for learning. This lack of technology at home creates a bigger gap for lower-income students. The goal is that all the students have an equal opportunity to complete engineering assignments. I am requesting an ASUS Chromebook for my students til have more access to technology.
