I'm seeking donations towards enhancing my classroom library so that I can send home new and engaging books of various levels and genres with my students who are learning remotely and build my classroom library for students I am instructing in-person. These collections were created by Scholastic to include 20 books each that are geared towards 4th graders' interests and skills. With these books, I can ensure that my students will have a variety of books at their fingertips! Since these are physical books, this will allow my students to get comfy and relax with the book of their choice in the classroom or at home as they work on enhancing their reading skills. This donation will promote excitement for, and conversation about, reading. My students will have a much-needed break from computer screen time and it will help to enhance their love for reading. With these books, I plan to create a Remote Learning Lending Library. That means I'll be able to send books home to my students on a regular basis. My students will be able to continually have new books in hand that they can explore.
