Our school currently has provided students with 1 to 1 devices in grades 3-5. However, in 2nd grade we do not have access to technology. During these very difficult times of the Coronavirus, our students are forced to be sitting in rows behind plexiglass which in turn effects my ability to teach them. Usually as a 2nd grade teacher, we have the kids able to see the screen from the rug. However, this year due to social distancing, students are not able to sit on a rug. This laptop would help to project learning in reading, as well as writing and math. This laptop would also be an immense help because we have been virtual before and have to use our personal computers to download, run various programs, as well as present various topics. Students will have access to materials and see things from their seats. The students would absolutely love to be able to see and interact with this laptop and all the things that can be made specifically for them!
