I am requesting a light table and manipulatives for my students because in my classroom we love to do hands on learning projects and a light table is the perfect way to do this. The manipulatives provide reinforcements for math, sensory, and reading so it is usable for more than one thing. In the right light, at the right time, everything is extraordinary. We will be using our light table every day for small group centers and during free time. I can't wait to see the joy in my students' eyes when they see these amazing tools for learning. I am also asking for glue, because as a kindergarten classroom we use a lot of it. And dry erase markers that can be used for tracing on the light table.
