The Google explorations kits will allow us to start to explore the places we learn about in class without ever having to leave the classroom. One of the best learning experiences is to actually be able to visit the places that we talk about and make the learning come to life but most of my students do not and will not probably have the opportunity to ever leave their hometown, much less travel to Egypt to see the pyramids or to Paris to explore the Louvre. These VR sets would allow each one of my students the opportunities to experience some of these places regardless of their circumstances in life.
