This printer will help my bilingual students gain access to much needed printed pictures. Pictures help them learn new vocabulary in their second language. It helps them make a smooth transition from their native language (Spanish) to learning many new English vocabulary while connecting their own background knowledge. While learning to read and write in both languages they will be able to create vocabulary booklets to keep in their desks as references during their school day and be able to also take home to use as references for homework. These resources are so important to English language learners as they acquire a new language.

About my class
