My students are fantastic and like most, thrive on a variety of learning experiences. These experiences range from seating options, movement in lessons, collaborative discussions and incentives. Kinesthetic learners are engaged learners. Supplies like individual white boards, clip boards, lap desks, ball chairs, chart paper, floor cushions, etc. allow for increased movement and creative lesson planning. No longer are they tied to their desk with paper and pencil! Creative, active lessons include projects and presentations, something my kids love! It's so impressive to see what they can create when provided with a little guidance and a whole lot of options. Poster board, glue, colored paper, art supplies and technology tools are some of the basics that allow for research and hands-on creations. With all of the hard work students put into their learning, I love to reward them with earned time for community building. So many of my kiddos love to play games and build their friendships and I love that it helps improve their social skills with their peers.
