At our urban, K-12 public school, 84% of our students are low-income and 59% live at, or below, the poverty line. Our charter school strives to ensure that all of our students graduate prepared to attend the college of their choice, and most are the first in their families to do so. They are gearing up for college from the moment they set foot in school as kindergarteners. Despite the challenges that come with teaching in a low-income community, 95% of our students go on to attend a four year college upon graduation!

About my class
