Students are very motivated to learn to use technology. While I do not use tablets as a way of teaching in my class, they are used as a way to supplement learning and allow for differentiation of instruction. I assign students specific apps to help them learn and grow based on where they are academically and what they are ready to learn. Students also use tablets to listen to books and practice math facts. When students do not have headphones, they become distracted by other devices, creating an atmosphere of chaos. With your help, I can allow students to stay on task and learn independently while I work with small groups.
