With limited indoor practice time and space, we are always looking for ways to improve our practice efficiency. With baseball being a game of repetition, it is extremely hard to provide each player with the practice reps they need to be successful. As coaches, we do our best to utilize what we have while trying to maximize our practice time. Baseball is a sport which has the potential to have a lot of standing around time. However, our goal each and every practice is to have everyone involved, everyone moving, and everyone working to get better at all times. Adding batting tees and heavy batting practice balls of this quality would enable us to provide a more efficient method of giving our players the practice repetitions needed to be successful. Competing in the FCIAC, we battle against top ranked teams that also have greater means than most. Being able to accomplish more in a shorter amount of time due to adding this equipment will provide tremendous benefits to our program and its players.
