In an effort to make remote art experiences more equitable this school year I am creating take home art kits for students who nee materials and won’t have access to the supplies in the art room. This year will be very different. I will be teaching my students virtually . Unfortunately that means they will not have access to the supplies they typically do in the art room. Many of my students are in need of materials. These art kits will be available for any student who needs supplies and will contain paper, markers, crayons. During a time filled with uncertainty, art is an outlet kids need to help them process and express what is happening around them. All children deserve this opportunity. Please help me ensure all of my students have the materials needed to create art at home.
