My school is a very diverse school of 1200 students. We were a Title I school up until this year. We have about 40% of students on free and reduced lunch. Many of my students are unable to purchase their own school supplies or books. Many of my students have never been outside of North Carolina. They have very limited exposure to life outside of their own.
