We need new calculators! Ours are broken, barely functioning, and students have to share, as we don't have enough. Kids need technology to excel in the fast paced changing world of math. We want to help students make the transition from using their phones to calculate, to using scientific calculators which will help move them into high school level math successfully. These calculators will help us expand on our current in-class paper and pencil projects and help them evolve into real world experiences as mathematicians. We will be preparing our students to excel in high school by providing the foundation which will lead to successfully using graphing calculators later.

About my class
