The materials(paper, chenille stems, paint, etc.) I'm asking for will be used to build and decorate a colorful and traditional Day of the Dead display in the classroom and in the school library. This project will make a difference in my students' learning by allowing them to participate in a tradition that celebrates and honors the legacy left to them by their ancestors. Day of the Dead artwork and letters will be displayed in both our Spanish class and school library so that all our school students, parents, and community members can appreciate the tradition.
