I have had multiple students request we do a unit on lacrosse but have not had the means to get the equipment this year. The lacrosse items I have requested will help them to learn how to catch and throw in a new way during our skill lessons as well as how to play offense and defense in a nontraditional sport during our tournament days. Lacrosse is a growing sport on the west coast so for students to have the opportunity to try a new sport that they may have a chance to play in college or when they become adults is just another advantage to them.
