These books will allow students to continuously build upon their knowledge of reading and use of library skills such as, identifying the main characters, setting and vocabulary development. In addition, students are encouraged to read for leisure, as a way to escape from "grown-up" issues like Covid-19. I will be reading many of these books virtually to my students, placing emphasis on previously learned reading and library skills. My goal is to keep the students excited about learning and to continuously challenge them through library books just as I do in school.
