This Cricut machine will be brought in the classroom and offered to any student in the bilingual point-of-entry program who wishes to create thoughtful gifts for their families. Our program is for 4th through 8th graders and has a little over 100 students. More than half of our students come from countries where heat and air conditioning is non-existent. Our students are appreciative of everything we share with them because they value our efforts. With many of our parents working second shift, many times we become the 2nd parents who teach them how to sew and wash their clothing properly. A Cricut would take their creativity to the next level.
