As are adults, my students are uncomfortable sitting in hard chairs all day long! Since we stay in one room for most of the day my students are often fidgety and need their own space. Flexible seating will allow my students to get comfortable in the classroom, keeping them calm and focused. When children are comfortable in their classroom they are more likely to be engaged, make academic growth and be more successful. I plan to use these seating options by allowing my students to choose a new seat & space where they would like to work. Help me make my students more comfortable in their classroom!
