Every week students will be introduced to a new Julia Cook book. Each book covers a topic that students can relate to. Lessons and activities will be developed around the book topic. Students will journal their feelings, role play with classmates and ultimately mature in their social and emotional learning. As the weeks go by students will build strong relationships with each other and develop a sense of cooperation, assertiveness, responsibility, empathy and self-control. I have high hopes that incorporating this into my classroom that I will strength my students mindset and they will grow and mature into kind and thoughtful young adults.

About my class
