We would like to start exploring ways that we can use recycled materials to make art in new and exciting ways! One of the ideas that excite us most is making our own paper out of the resources in our recycling bin! Students will use the leftover paper from previous art projects and used worksheets from their classrooms to learn the art of papermaking. Directions for the paper making process will be put into the water protected plastic sheet protectors. The paper-making tray sets will be used to create the paper. Once the paper is made and dry the students will create art and hand-bound sketchbooks from their own paper! Help the middle schoolers learn the paper making process and create their own recycled paper.
