Small group work in reading and math makes up a large portion of our daily schedule. A variety of reading and math resources will help me to differentiate during small guided reading and guided math group lessons. Students read fluently and can easily decode tricky words when they are matched with the just right text. Math Dice Jr. will give individual students and students working at a Math Station the opportunity to review and master math facts. During literacy and math station time students will be able to self-select a just-right book or math activity. In order to adequately meet the needs and interests of all students a variety of genres and math manipulatives must be accessible to students. Daily reading practice helps students move up in reading levels. These reading and math resources will help assist with teaching grade level content in English Language Arts and Math.
