This upcoming fall I will be teaching 5th grade math, science and writing in a school that does not provide laptops to teachers. I am in need of a laptop so that I can plan all of my lessons and create engaging activities to connect to the state standards! As well as do the basics of checking school emails, creating documents and letters to parents throughout the year, being able to print and much more! I also want to have a way for my students to explore science through technology! Having a Macbook in my classroom will give my students more opportunities to explore and help to engage their minds as they work on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) projects in the classroom. The Macbook will also provide opportunities for my students to type and print their final drafts of written pieces they create during writing time.
