My students spend a majority of their day in small group centers, both academic and play based centers. This gives them the opportunity for more targeted academic instruction and time to interact with their classmates through content and play. In funding this project, you will help to make our classroom and my students' learning more vibrant and engaging through puzzles, fine motor skills practice, art supplies, and more. These supplies will not only support my students academically but also in their social emotional learning journey. With this being my first year of teaching, I am thinking ahead to next year and the supplies that I wish I would have had to support my students right from the start. These supplies will not only support my current students in closing some gaps before the end of the year, but will also be essential to my incoming students in the fall.
