The cubby units will help our class add organization to our manipulative and visual aid stations. Our literacy manipulative corner will be color coded. Our writing manipulative area will be color coded as well as numbered. Students will have knowledge of where each type of manipulative is located and it's content. We will no longer have our manipulative stations located on the floor. The cubby units will be named and numbered for each content area and lessons being taught. This will definitely help students find the manipulatives they need for each content according to each lesson being taught. Having students know where each manipulative and visual aid is located helps them be self-efficient and empowers them to be more independent in their own learning.
