These materials will be making a huge difference because the students have silks that are torn or not the proper size for the flag they are spinning. The reason being that the school has years with these silks ever since the program started. Additionally, I want to be able to give these students new silks to practice with so that they are able to improve on their skills as a color guard member. With these new silks, the students will be able to know how to toss, catch and learn to catch properly. The troubles that we are having with the current silks are that they are not the proper size for the pole and create a heavier flag then what it should be. These students have been asking to see if we are able to get a hold of good practice silks so they are able to learn everything with much more preciseness. Secondly, this means that yes they are not allowed to use the performance silks that we use for multiple events during practice to avoid any damage to the performance flags. Therefore this has brought me to this page to ask for help to provide for these students to have something nice they can enjoy and have proper training with.
