Students spend hours and hours in the classroom. That time spent should be comfortable and well-structured. My classroom rug will be inviting spot to hold whole group instruction. With the color coded spots, each student will have a spot of their own to sit. The color coded spots also aid students in following routines and makes transitions easier to follow. In addition, this rug provides a cozy spot to lay out and enjoy a good book, fostering a love for reading. Without a rug, my students will have to sit on a very hard, laminate floor. This rug will create a more warm and inviting space for learning.

About my class
