Thank you for reading about my project. I have selected items that I use often in my classroom to create manipulative activities for my students. For example, I often create images which I laminate and put Velcro in the back so the students can point, choose and match them. I try to have colorful items that they can touch and move around as many of my students are nonverbal. Some items are to teach them content such as the letters and the numbers, but my main goal, as the ESL teacher, is to help them communicate with others. Please help me give a voice to my students!
