In my classroom, I will be working one on one with students who need to be in a resource room. These students require accommodations and differentiation that other students do not require. I do not want my students to feel like they are missing out on the fun that the other students will be having in their general classroom. I want my room to feel like a safe haven for these children. I do not want them to feel different, I want them to feel special. With these supplies, I will be able to plan activities tailor made for my students without fear of not having the resources to do so. This is only my second year of teaching, so I want any help I can get to ensure that I am giving my students everything that they need to become successful adults. The stools will make guided reading/math much more comfortable for my students, and will also provide more seating options in my room. Different students learn in different ways. I plan to use the printer for activities that I will laminate so that my students can use them repeatedly over the years, and to create colorful rules and schedules for the students to follow with ease. The supplies will be used for various activities as well as cleanliness in our classroom.
