Throughout the day, I see 4 different homerooms of students. To help organize the students, I like to color coordinate their materials by homeroom. This allows students to access their materials easier, and keep their math materials in one location. I like to reference past problems, and keep reference materials for students to re-use throughout the year. A binder enables students to enter each class knowing where to find their materials so that they can easily access past assignments, on going assignments and reference sheet. This allows for more time on task and less time trying to find an assignment which results therefore delaying or missing instruction.
