My plan is for each child to have their personal copy of Wonder to read together as a class. Our class loves reading and exploring new books together. We learn so much about ourselves and each other when we read about new characters. We also learn about empathy when we meet new characters different from us. I hope this book will teach my students about empathy, compassion, doing what is right and also about loving themselves. Through the use of this book my hope is to inspire the love of learning but also teach vocabulary, figurative language, theme, and words in context.
