The materials I am requesting for my students will make a huge difference in their every day learning environment. Having flexible seating in my classroom will allow my active students to work in an active environment that is comfortable for them. Not every student learns in the same way, especially this group of students. They seek different avenues to help them focus. Some students stand to while they work, some students need something keeping them busy to help them learn, and others need to constantly change positions to keep them focused. These materials will help make that happen without causing distractions to others around them. I strongly believe that this project, if funded, will enhance my students' ability to learn and will increase their level of love for learning and education in general. I have seen the benefits in other classrooms of what flexible seating can do for students, I am really hoping and encouraged that these materials will do just that for my class!
