My Diverse Learner students struggle with reading fluency as well as reading comprehension. By individualizing their lessons so some may have the passages read to them will help improve their comprehension. These headphones will help them work independently and will increase their comprehension ability! While working in our listening center the students can listen to the leveled stories as they are completing the written comprehension questions. When passages are read to them we have found greater success. The headphones will give the allow multiple students to work at the same time but it will ensure they are not disrupting their peers and can be focused and learning.
