As part of our school's mission and vision to cultivate holistic wellbeing, we believe that practicing daily mindfulness will help us build a positive relationship with our students while helping each child develop emotional stability during these unsettled times. We are so lucky to have time in our online pre-k schedule for important community building and social emotional learning! By age 4, children begin to retain mindfulness practices independently so what a perfect time to start a lifelong habit. This project will provide the materials needed for practicing mindfulness at home and also at school when we transition back to the classroom.
