These books chosen by my students, will enable them to read books at both their respective instructional and independent levels. The books can be read in the cozy nook or at home and will be checked out similarly to a public library. Upon reading a book, students will be provided opportunities to engage in deep and rich discussions, book talks, and reading challenges. The rug and comfy chairs will enable me to create a cozy reading nook whereby the scholars will be able to relax and enjoy diving into a good book. Studies have shown that when students are motivated in their learning their skills increase often dramatically, and their love of learning naturally begins to flourish!
