By donating to this project, you will be placing a book in each of my students' hands each class period. This is so important to helping my students engage with a text. By having physical copies of books, students will not rely on a PDF on their computer for our reading circles. By having an actual book, students are more engaged in our reading, are better able to make connections, and their ability to discuss specific passages increases as well. Not only will these books help students in English class, but this project will connect with Science, Engineering, and Math classes to help students learn how the arts and sciences can collide, creating a well-rounded experience for students.
