If my students get these essential supplies, they will feel good coming to school knowing that they have what they need and not be worried that I would ask for a supply and they are not able to bring it. These students come from low-income households which can not give them all the supplies that they need. Students who have the essential supplies are successful students! I know that they would greatly appreciate it. If they get their supplies, they would be ready to tackle the State Exam, since I show them strategies that need highlighters, colors, color pencils, glue, index cards and other supplies.
