Students who take my Athletic Training typically have a love of sports and an interest in the medical field. The class is unique because students actually practice taping, splinting, and other skills learned in class. In fact, they even complete clinical time during on-campus athletic events. Typically, my students are inquisitive, intelligent, eager to learn, and competitive athletes. This project will provide much-needed supplies to transition students from learning about skills to practicing skills on real people. Without the requested materials, my students may not get an opportunity to practice the skills they learn in class. Taping supplies are the athletic trainer's best friend, and we would be lost without them.
