I’m starting a new 4th grade position this August and I am in serious need of some classroom library books. If I expect to inspire my students to be avid and enthusiastic readers, I will need to offer them books that are engaging, memorable and text they can see themselves in or dream themselves into. Reading is the gateway to all other learning and I want to open each gate wide and give access to my students to a world they feel they belong to and are inspired to serve. Please help my cause by donating to our amazing school where we teach with purpose and intention and place students first. As a child that grew up in poverty myself, books became my window to a new world. I will begin my 23rd year in education and I still consider reading the most important skill we teach. Please help me create an amazing library for some amazing students.
