I am trying to set up an art area within our classroom for the students to visit and learn about creativity. This will be an independent place where the students will be responsible for maintaining and protecting. The students in my class enjoy stations where they can express themselves and learn how creative they are. This station will provide that opportunity. Many of the students do not have materials at home to use for art projects and having this available in the classroom will make a difference for them. They can have pride in their creations and bring them home.
