Students will learn real world skills as they design and create parts for their robots. They will also utilize the laser cutter for fundraising as they bid and create contracted projects for businesses and individuals. The initial project will be a bid to design and create the door placards for Kankakee High School. Students will attempt to win the bid over other other bidding organizations. The students will also actively pursue other contracts with local businesses. They will also attempt to design and sell products to the community for fundraising for their teams and materials. Senior graduation signs are also being designed.
