My students are enthusiastic learners who enjoy learning new things each day. They enjoy participating in math workstations daily, which gives students an opportunity to practice place value, problem solving, fractions, addition, and subtraction each day through hands on activities. My students work hard each day and demonstrate perseverance when they face rigorous problems. In science, students love to participate in activities and share their learning with their peers. My students are also very creative. For example, students were assigned a project to create something new out of recycled materials. Some examples of their projects were musical instruments, piggy banks, pencil boxes, a purse, robots, and a toy helicopter. They love any type of project that is assigned to them and look forward to sharing their learning with the class!
