The purchase of an iPad Pro in my classroom would make a significant difference for my students. An app such as "Notability" from iPad Pro would allow me to walk around the classroom and control the document, presentation, and visual representations displayed from anywhere in the classroom for students to access abstract mathematical ideas. Students can model their understanding on the iPad Pro with a pencil, creating more opportunity for all students to be involved. Each group could also present their work by taking pictures of their work and projecting it to the board in real time to create discussions that would provide faster feedback and deeper understanding of a math concept. Furthermore, I would be able to upload any daily notes and assignments directly from the iPad for a better and quicker access. Ultimately, a new iPad Pro and pencil and its wide variety of functions would do many wonderful things for student engagement and interactions.
