My students are on a modified curriculum for all subjects. This curriculum does not provide many if any materials. If we had an interactive smart board, we would be able to display the curriculum on the board as we go through it. We would be able to utilize some of the interactive activities our curriculum offers. We would be able to watch some of the informational videos that accompany our lessons. We would be able to use the smart board to utilize our curriculum to the maximum capacity, thereby enhancing our learning! We do not have any technology in our​ classroom that is functioning. An interactive smart board would allow them an opportunity to use touch screen technology to further enhance their knowledge of technology and engage in group activities in a way that accommodates their needs. My students are intelligent and hard-working, and I truly believe with the right tools, they can go far and surpass all expectations. The interactive smart board will allow my students an opportunity to access their curriculum to the fullest extent. I believe their engagement will also increase, as many of my students are motivated through the use of computer technology.
