This project will create a resource that will be used both during distance learning and video recorded lessons as well as when my students are back in the classroom with me. Books with messages of encouragement, inclusion, and respect for differences is especially needed during this time in our history- and my students deserve a library with a heart of equity and care. This is the time to dig deep. To listen, to learn. To give voice to all storytellers. This is what I hope to accomplish through lesson design and curriculum focused on equity and anti-racism based around these books.
