With hands-on science, students are required to wear goggles. I have approximately 100 students who share 30 goggles. Each student is responsible for sanitizing their goggles for the next student. Then, they often clean before they put goggles on for the upcoming investigations. But these pre- and post-wear cleanings, don't always go as planned. Students sometimes half-clean or time doesn't allow for us to get these two cleanings in before time to change class approaches. Also, with student doing these cleanings themselves, it takes time away from student learning but the Ultraviolet Sterilization Cabinet will clean for us while we are learning!
