Stage presence and showmanship are critical aspects of performing modern music. My students are encouraged to fully express themselves on stage through facial expression, body language, and movement. They are asked to entertain their audiences, not simply sing or play a song. Being attached to amplifiers with instrument cables hinders their ability to utilize the entire stage during a performance. Using wireless guitar systems will give them freedom from stage restriction and allow them to fully engage with their audiences. It will also allow these young musicians the opportunity to sample more advanced technology used today within the music industry.
