My project is bringing STEM into the classroom. Our days are filled with many different subjects and topics changing everyday. I want to bring those topics alive in the classroom. With getting more tools to help our class work on our growth mindsets. We will be able to do many more STEM activities as well as share our new findings with other classrooms around us. I want to bring engineering and technology that is not always taught into my classrooms. Starting a STEM program in my classroom will not only add many learning opportunities but teaching children the basic skills or team work, trial and error, and many more life lessons that will help them in their future academic success. With the Magna Tiles students will be able to build 3-D shapes to help us visually see edges, vertex, and faces. Along with the many other building tools that will be used to try and make bridges and see which hold the most weight. We do a whole unit on engineers and I want the kids to become engineers and learn to solve problems and work through challenges.
