The equipment being requested will be used to engage students in lifelong sports and recreational activities. Our focus of this ask was lifelong activities (basketball, soccer, bowling, strength, and fitness). Our students sometimes require modified or adapted equipment to ensure their success in an activity. We specifically chose equipment geared to their needs. Our students have very much seen setbacks due to COVID-19. Most of our students rely heavily on their school environment to expose them to communication, play, turn-taking, and peer interaction. For our student's school is a critical and enriching environment allowing them to continue to grow into the amazing humans we know they are!
