My students have a choice of where they can sit. I have provided them with pillows and lowered their desks and have raised the desks to allow others who work best to stand. Other students like sitting on higher stools. I do my best to accommodate every student and their learning ways. Sometimes, seats get damaged and it is difficult to replace immediately. Every student learns at a different pace and in a different way. Allowing for flexible seating in the classroom has really made a difference in how much they have improved and still continue to do so. Students love coming to class knowing they are learning at their pace, their way.
